On these lands sculpted by erosion, vines, orchards and forests form a splendid rural mosaic. Vineyards dominate in the plains, stretching into the ends of the valleys, and produce a table grape with a guaranteed origin label – the «Muscat du Ventoux», often grown «en lyre». On the plateau and the slopes, carefully tended in terraced fields, cherry trees are the dominant crop, producing famous fruits with the labels «Côteaux du Ventoux» and «Monts de Venasque». The plateau edge offers magnificent views over the Comtat plains and Mont Ventoux.
