To the south, Mont Ventoux tapers to an end along the slopes of the Monts de Vaucluse and the Roussillon hills.
From Gordes to the Provencal Colorado, plant and mineral life compose an uninterrupted symphony where grapevines add high notes of colour, of which wine is the reflection.
THE MONTS
DE VAUCLUSE

VINEYARDS AND LANDSCAPES

At the base of the Monts de Vaucluse, from Gordes to Villars, lie a series of fertile plains, separated from the Calavon valley by the ochre hills.
This forms an especially rich tableau of colour and form, full of red and green, chalky soil plants (green and white oak) and siliceous soil plants, such as the maritime pine.
White stone and multi-coloured soils add to the beauty.
In springtime, vineyards add their tender green colours, which over time covers the entire palette of colour, ending in a finale of reds and golds in the autumn.
Mont Ventoux crowns the setting, proudly shrouded in its white cape of stone, familiar and beloved, to the onlooker.
